Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in automotive repair industry
• Strong technical knowledge of service/repair standards
• Mentoring technicians is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills available in workplace settings
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced shop

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Manager to interview, select and train service technicians
• Assess technician knowledge, skills and performance with input on development
• Help manage service sales, gross profit, customer satisfaction and safety targets
• Oversee daily work orders, including time, tools, and equipment
• Provide technical support for diagnosis on various make/model vehicles
• Suggest training to improve technician skills across levels
• Ensure shop safety and proper use of PPE and proper equipment maintenance
• Maintain store cleanliness, inventory management and policy adherence
• Analyze financial/operational data to identify trends and improvement plans
• Lead a culture of safety, accountability and excellence with the teams
