Job summary

Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Manager I at Napleton Auto Park of Urbana. The role leads the Service Department, drives performance, and focuses on attracting and developing top talent to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

The leader will manage day-to-day operations, ensure efficient service, and uphold Napleton’s standards and processes across locations. Growth opportunities exist within a large regional group.

Qualifications

• Automotive service management experience in a high-volume dealership.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Ability to attract, develop, and retain talent.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Set a clear vision and goals for the Service Department to achieve targets.
• Drive efficient service operations to quickly service customers and ensure quality first time.
• Engage and motivate the team to meet goals per Napleton’s processes.
• Attract, develop, and retain the best talent for the Service Department.
• Create exceptional customer experiences to drive loyalty.
• Ensure the Service area is customer-ready with proper displays and info.
• Manage the business per Napleton and manufacturer requirements.
• Analyze the business and develop actions to improve performance.
• Drive the business through day-to-day operations.
