Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive in Montgomery, AL is seeking an Assistant Manager who will help lead daily store operations, coach the team, and ensure fast, friendly, high-quality service while upholding safety and brand standards.

You will split time between the service bay, front counter, and back office, supporting the Store Manager and developing staff to grow into leadership roles within our multi-brand automotive service platform.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with service bays.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills; proficient with POS and inventory systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations in the store in the manager’s absence and coach the team.
• Greet customers, explain services, and promote high-quality, speedy service.
• Assist with scheduling, onboarding, and training of new team members.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized shop and customer areas.
• Monitor inventory, cash handling, and POS transactions; uphold safety standards.
