Job summary

DARCARS of Jacksonville is hiring an Automotive Service Cashier / Receptionist to be the front-line representative for the dealership. You will greet customers, route inquiries, and handle calls with a professional, friendly demeanor.

The role includes clerical duties, data entry into the prospect tracking system, managing the switchboard, and supporting salesperson day-to-day activities. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Pre-employment background check required.
• Excellent communication with customers and staff.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Speak clearly and professionally on the phone and in person.

Responsibilities

• Greet showroom customers and determine the nature of their visit.
• Direct customers to the correct department and notify sales personnel.
• Answer basic inquiries and route complex questions to the appropriate person.
• Enter data into the prospect tracking system.
• Manage the switchboard and take thorough messages.
• Provide basic information and distribute the company telephone roster.
