Job summary

DARCARS of Greenwich is seeking an Automotive Service Cashier / Receptionist to be the friendly front-line face of the dealership. You will greet showroom visitors, direct them to the right department, answer basic inquiries and handle calls with a professional demeanor.

You’ll also assist in clerical tasks and support the sales team in daily activities. The role requires strong communication, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to work a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak clearly and pleasantly on the telephone and convey professionalism
• Strong communication skills with customers and employees
• Ability to speak multiple languages (Spanish) is a plus
• Customer service oriented with a professional image
• Able to sit for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• High school diploma or GED required
• Able to pass pre-employment background check

Responsibilities

• Greet showroom customers and determine the nature of their visit
• Direct customers to the correct department or salesperson
• Answer basic customer inquiries and route to appropriate person
• Enter data into prospect tracking system
• Manage switch board and service department transactions
• Provide basic information to callers and take messages
• Update telephone roster and perform clerical duties as needed
• Support salesperson day-to-day activities and dealership operations
