Job summary

Five Star Automotive Group is seeking a Service Director to lead our service department. The role requires entrepreneurial leadership to drive service excellence, profitability and growth across a multi-brand dealership network.

You will own staffing, budgeting and vendor partnerships, and you’ll lead a team focused on delivering top-tier customer service. The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of dealership service management experience, strong business acumen, and a proven track record of

Responsibilities

• Manage employee schedules and pay plans.
• Staff and hiring responsibility for service division.
• Attend manager meetings and conduct service department meetings.
• Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the service department.
• Maintain service customer pay gross profit growth.
• Maintain technician proficiency.
• Partner with technical schools to recruit technicians.
• Partner with OEM and other third-party vendors.
• Motivate, train, develop and reward employees.
• Provide and maintain a safe workplace and environment for employees and customers.
