United Engines in Shreveport, LA seeks a Service Advisor to be the primary contact for all services provided by the service department. You will oversee assignments and ensure timely, accurate communication with customers.

Responsibilities include directing service jobs to technicians, tracking progress, coordinating parts, and creating invoices with clear explanations of charges, while upholding safety standards and quality control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3–7 years related experience.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in automotive or heavy-duty engine repair environment preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Serve as primary contact for customers from initiation to completion.
• Communicate status of service including description, status, and cost.
• Assign service jobs to technicians and oversee progress.
• Ensure parts and supplies are available to complete service jobs.
• Ensure service complies with safety procedures and SOPs.
• Create final customer invoice with explanation and charges and review with customers.
