Job summary

United Engines is seeking a Service Advisor to act as the primary contact for customers from intake through service completion at our Shreveport location. The role involves communicating job descriptions, status, and costs, and coordinating with technicians to ensure timely, quality service.

Responsibilities include assigning jobs, ensuring parts availability, enforcing safety and SOP compliance, and presenting final invoices to customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, with 3–7 years of related experience.
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in automotive or heavy-duty engine repair is a plus.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for customers from initiation through completion of the service job.
• Communicate status of service job to customer, including description, status, and cost of work.
• Assign service jobs to Technicians and oversee progress to completion.
• Ensure parts and supplies are available for Technicians to complete the service job.
• Ensure service complies with company safety and SOPs and quality control of the process.
• Create final customer invoice with explanation and charges, and review with customers.
