Job summary

Walser Automotive Group is seeking an experienced service support candidate in Minnesota to lead warranty information, verify repairs, and coordinate with extended warranty providers. You will help ensure accurate documentation and a seamless service experience for customers.

The role emphasizes teamwork, urgency, and attention to detail, with responsibilities spanning ticketing, rentals, and pre-delivery processes, all while upholding Walser's core values and commitment to exceptional customer

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in an automotive dealership.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Past experience working with a high level of urgency.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Experience interacting with customers and providing a positive experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the service team with leadership in warranty knowledge and information.
• Aid in contacting extended warranty companies for claim approval.
• Check vehicle and Repair Order (RO) information compliance.
• Ensure all supporting documentation for repairs are attached to repair orders.
• Confirm accurate technician repair documentation (3 C’s)…cause, concern and correction.
• Book tickets after customer has left and ensure payment has been received.
• Work with teammates to ensure customers receive the best possible experience.
• Ensure rental process is followed and completed, including cleanliness of rentals upon return, daily updates on days rented, processing damage claims, etc.
• Write-up and Close Pre-Delivery vehicles
• Coordinate pick up and delivery on all internal vehicles
• Updating Used Vehicle Team on internal repair orders
• Must wear safety eyewear at all times when in dealership service departments
• Must wear hard-toed shoes and slip resistant footwear in when in dealership service departments
• All other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned
