Job summary

Ocean Mazda Doral is seeking a Service BDC Representative to handle inbound/outbound calls, texts, and emails to schedule and confirm service appointments. You will maintain customer records, follow up on recommendations, and collaborate with Service Advisors to maximize appointment opportunities.

The ideal candidate enjoys talking on the phone, is organized, and can meet performance goals. Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred, with starting pay of $16.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in BDC, call center, appointment-setting, customer-service, or sales preferred.
• Automotive dealership experience is a plus but not required.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills.
• Strong customer-service skills and professional phone/text/email communication.
• Proficient computer and data-entry abilities; able to learn dealership CRM and scheduling systems.
• CDK or other dealership systems experience is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of customer contacts.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Professional demeanor with dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound service calls promptly and professionally.
• Assist customers with scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming service appointments.
• Make outbound calls regarding service needs and opportunities.
• Follow up on recommended or previously declined services.
• Contact customers about maintenance and other service opportunities.
• Perform appointment confirmations via calls, texts, or emails.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, internet, text, and email.
• Enter and maintain customer information and appointment details in dealer systems.
• Review customer history to aid scheduling.
• Maintain an organized schedule and maximize service appointment opportunities.
• Communicate appointment information to Service Advisors/Management.
• Follow scripts, processes, and contact standards.
• Maintain daily call, follow-up, and appointment activity.
• Follow up on missed/cancelled appointments and reschedule as needed.
• Assist with customer retention and reactivation efforts.
• Maintain notes on conversations and follow-up activity.
• Escalate complaints to management when appropriate.
• Collaborate with Service team and other BDC members.
• Participate in meetings, training, and performance reviews.
• Provide professional, courteous communication with every customer.
• Protect confidential information and follow dealership procedures.
