Basney BMW Mazda in South Bend, Indiana is seeking a Service Porter to support the service team with vehicle check-in, loaner management, and parking lot workflow. You will handle check-ins, move vehicles, and assist with daily service operations as needed.

We value a positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to best-in-class customer service. Training is provided, with opportunities to fill in for Service Advisors during vacations and illness when needed.

Qualifications

• Automotive experience preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude and can-do mentality.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Professional and customer-focused demeanor.
• Reliable transportation to and from work daily.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Assist Service Staff with vehicle check in.
• Create and manage repair orders for Inventory vehicles
• Retrieve and check in loaner vehicles before and after customer use.
• Assist and train under Service Advisors to fill Advisor position during Vacation and Sick Days.
• Drive vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations.
• Assist with incoming phone calls.
• Placed scheduling calls as needed/directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
