Job summary

Long Beach BMW, part of Sonic Automotive, is seeking a Service Porter to move service customer vehicles and maintain an orderly service parking area. You will greet customers, record vehicle details, and assist with parking and loaner vehicles to support smooth traffic flow.

The position requires working authorization in the USA, a professional appearance, and the ability to pass pre-employment checks. Salary is $17 per hour, with competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Able to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers entering the service area with a friendly, upbeat professional attitude and directs them appropriately.
• Records customer name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and existing vehicle damage (walk around).
• Controls service traffic flow and parking; assists with loaner vehicles and writes up vehicles.
• Drives vehicles to and from the service lane, stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Maintains a clean, safe service drive area free of trash, water, leaves and dirt.
• Parks vehicles after they have been written up and delivers keys to the Service Advisor promptly.
