Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of Plano is seeking a motivated trainee to learn the Service Advisor role and support day-to-day customer interactions at the Plano dealership. The trainee will accompany senior staff, practice documenting repair needs, and assist with routine communications with clients and team members.

Responsibilities include learning to prepare repair orders, discuss costs, and track progress while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current, valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Customer service oriented and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and assist multiple clients.

Responsibilities

• Shadow experienced Service Advisors to learn how to determine client needs and collect information.
• Assist in writing Repair Orders with detailed problems and authorizations.
• Learn to explain repair diagnoses and optional services to clients.
• Support in presenting warranties and documenting approvals.
• Help track repair status and notify clients of changes by phone or email.
• Assist in maintaining status sheets and parts orders.
