Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a dealership position.
• Knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Ability to maintain a professional personal appearance and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• All applicants must be comfortable submitting to pre-employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Schedules service appointments. Obtains customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.
• Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner.
• Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts. Establishes "promised time".
• Checks on progress of repair throughout the day. Contacts customers regarding changes to estimates or promised times, and obtains proper authorization for additional repairs.
• Test-drives the vehicle or refers to the test technician as necessary.
• Maintains Customer Satisfaction Index rating comparable to manufacturer/branch averages.
• Advises customers on vehicle care per manufacturers’ specifications using maintenance menus.
• Follows safety policies and reports accidents as required.
