Job summary

AAA Mountain West Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Service Advisor to deliver an outstanding member experience while coordinating workflow for technicians. You will schedule work, prepare estimates, and clearly explain services and charges to customers.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in auto repair, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or GED; ASE certification is preferred. The role involves documenting work, ordering parts, and coordinating service activities to ensure timely

Qualifications

• Must possess a High School Diploma or GED; ASE certification is preferred.
• 3–5 years of industry experience in auto repair.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• ASE certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Interact with members to determine their auto repair needs and meet their expectations of great customer service.
• Accurately document repairs, diagnostic and maintenance work into shop management system.
• Ensure all necessary BAR requirements are met in Repair Order preparation and documentation.
• Source and estimate all needed parts for repairs to customer vehicles.
• Suggest repairs for safety and improved performance and help prioritize for customers in order of importance (safety, economy, longevity).
• Review all repairs with customers from the original estimate through the final payment to ensure understanding.
• Perform minimal record keeping and other administrative functions to support the business.
• Note: Travel to different locations may be required as needed.
