Gary Yeomans Honda is seeking an experienced service advisor to join our team in Daytona Beach. The role centers on greeting customers, accurately documenting service needs, and writing repair orders while leveraging the Hunter system data.

It requires effective communication of technical topics, strong sales skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. You will work with factory-trained technicians, support staff, and management to deliver a seamless service experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an automotive Service Advisor.
• Customer service skills.
• Sales experience.
• Proficiency with computers and technology.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to customers.
• Prior automobile sales experience.
• Prior automobile technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in lane and welcome them to the dealership.
• Answer the phone and set appointments or answer questions from customers.
• Perform vehicle walk-around and note damage or items needing service.
• Explain Hunter system information and relevant tire/alignment data during write-up.
• Create and dispatch repair orders using electronic dispatching and proper documentation.
• Maintain customer rapport and provide updates on repairs and progress.
• Review and adjust cause-and-correction notes for accuracy.
• Coordinate with extended warranties to get claims approved and collect payments.
• Close customer pay repair orders and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work with management and staff to deliver exceptional service.
