Job summary

Ford of Lafayette is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor/Service Writer to join our award-winning service team in Lafayette, LA. You will greet customers, document repair needs, and communicate estimates to customers and technicians.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of advisor experience, strong customer service and time management skills, and the ability to work Saturdays. Reynolds & Reynolds experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Automotive Service Advisor experience required; Ford/Lincoln experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and time management skills.
• Ability to work Saturdays when required.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds preferred

Responsibilities

• Greeting and communicating with customers on all aspects of repair, such as creating work orders, arranging bookings and communicating them to the technicians, and providing estimates to the consumer and finalizing invoices.
• Performing other store duties and functions as directed by management.
