Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a Sales & Service Advisor in San Marcos, CA. You will be the primary contact for customers, help them understand needs, recommend solutions, and ensure a smooth service experience from start to finish.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior experience as a Service Advisor is highly preferred, but not required.
• Professional appearance and proven ability to work in a process driven environment.
• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner in person and over the phone using standardized service techniques.
• Listen to and document customer concerns; inspect vehicle and review service history to identify needs.
• Recommend services and clearly communicate additional recommendations from the Automotive Technician; document all recommendations.
• Promote the sale of services, parts, and accessories by understanding product requirements.
• Provide accurate quotes including cost and completion time; give updates on service status throughout the day.
• Follow procedures when finalizing checkout, including review of inspections and warranties.
• Conduct post-repair follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction for all customers.
• Track returns and warranty parts for each customer.
• Other duties as assigned.
