Job summary

Group 1 Automotive, Inc. is actively hiring experienced Service Advisors for multiple Bob Howard dealerships in Oklahoma City and Edmond.

The role requires you to manage a busy service drive, communicate with customers and technicians, and drive service sales with accurate repair orders. Ideal candidates have prior Service Advisor or Service Writer experience, strong automotive knowledge, and the ability to upsell maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications

• Previous dealership Service Advisor or Service Writer experience.
• Strong automotive maintenance and repair knowledge.
• Ability to upsell recommended maintenance and repairs.
• Experience writing repair orders and coordinating with technicians.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume service department.
• Experience with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Tekion, Xtime, Dealertrack) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and confirm service appointments to ensure an efficient customer experience.
• Create accurate, transparent repair orders with detailed cost and time estimates.
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers, technicians, and parts teams.
• Provide timely updates and clear communication throughout the repair process.
• Review inspections and confidently recommend maintenance and repair services.
• Maintain strong product, warranty, and service knowledge.
• Accurately document customer interactions and service details in the system.
