Job summary

Group 1 Automotive is seeking experienced Service Advisors for Bob Howard dealerships in Oklahoma City and Edmond. You will manage the service drive, communicate with technicians, and upsell maintenance and repair recommendations to drive service sales.

The ideal candidate has prior Service Advisor or Service Writer experience in a fast‑paced dealership environment, excellent customer service skills, and fluency with dealership management systems. Competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

Experience as a Service Advisor or Service Writer in a dealership.
Ability to upsell recommended maintenance and repairs.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Familiarity with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Tekion, Xtime, Dealertrack, etc.).
Valid driver license.

Responsibilities

Schedule and confirm service appointments to ensure an efficient customer experience.
Create accurate repair orders with detailed cost and time estimates.
Serve as the primary liaison between customers, technicians, and parts teams.
Provide timely updates and clear communication throughout the repair process.
Review inspections and confidently recommend maintenance and repair services.
Maintain strong product, warranty, and service knowledge.
Accurately document customer interactions and service details in the system.
