Job summary

Fox Motors in Grand Rapids, MI seeks an Automotive Service Advisor to join Fox Kia South. You will build trust with customers and schedule service, present repair work, and maintain accurate records to foster long-term relationships.

You should have 2–4 years of related experience or training, strong communication and organizational skills, and a valid driver’s license. Knowledge of automotive systems and enthusiasm for technology are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of related experience or an equivalent training background.
• Tech-savvy with ability to use technology to enhance the customer experience.
• Excellent communication, organization and follow-up skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Schedules service appointments.
• Greets customers and collects vehicle information.
• Obtains customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.
• Writes up vehicle problems on repair orders clearly.
• Refers to service history, inspects the vehicle and recommends needed service.
• Provides a complete written cost estimate for labor and parts.
• Monitors repair progress and informs customers of changes, obtaining authorization.
• Reviews repair orders and closes them once work is complete.
