Fox Motors in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a Service Advisor to join our Fox Mazda Kalamazoo team. You will develop trust with customers, schedule service work, present repair orders, and maintain customer records to build long-term relationships.

Ideal candidates have automotive knowledge, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset. You will greet customers, gather vehicle data, and ensure accurate estimates and timely updates throughout repairs.

Qualificações

• Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience and desire to work with technology to drive an exceptional customer experience.
• Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain vehicle information.
• Obtain customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.
• Write up customer's vehicle problems accurately and clearly on repair order.
• Refer to service history, inspect vehicle, and recommend additional needed service.
• Provide a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
• Check on progress of repair throughout the day; contact customers regarding changes and obtain authorization.
• Review repair orders to ensure work is completed and authorization noted; close repair order as appropriate.
• Explain completed work and all charges to customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Service Advisor is a trusted automotive expert that plays an active role in the service lane. As a Service Advisor, you are responsible for selling and scheduling needed service work, preparing, and presenting repair orders, and maintaining customer records. Fox Motors is looking for a Service Advisor that has automotive knowledge, strong written and verbal communication skills, and is team focused.

Key responsibilities include the following. Others may be assigned.

• Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtains vehicle information.
• Obtains customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.
• Writes up customer's vehicle problems accurately and clearly on repair order.
• Refers to service history, inspects vehicle, and recommends additional needed service.
• Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
• Checks on progress of repair throughout the day. Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
• Reviews repair orders to ensure that work is completed, and additional work and authorization is noted. Closes repair order as appropriate.
• Explains completed work and all charges to customers.
