Job summary

Grubbs Family of Dealerships is seeking a Customer Service Advisor to be the face of the service department. You’ll build trust with guests, present services with integrity, and drive a great customer experience on every repair order.

This high-accountability role emphasizes strong production, honest selling, and exceptional CSI. You’ll work closely with technicians and parts to deliver timely service and maintain customer trust.

Qualifications

• Service advisor or strong customer service / sales experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to explain technical work in terms customers understand.
• Comfortable with DMS / CRM technology.
• Integrity-first approach to recommending and selling service.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet service customers and conduct a thorough walk-around and write-up.
• Listen to customer concerns and document them clearly for accurate diagnosis.
• Present recommended and declined services with honesty and supporting evidence.
• Provide accurate estimates, timelines, and proactive updates during the visit.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts to keep work moving and accurate promises.
• Drive customer-pay sales, optimize hours per RO, and protect CSI.
• Handle concerns calmly and own problems until resolved.
• Follow up after visits to confirm satisfaction and future business.
