Job summary

Grubbs Family of Dealerships is seeking a customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to be the face of our service department in Tulsa. You’ll build trust with every guest, present services with integrity, and drive an exceptional customer experience on every repair order.

This high-accountability role expects strong production, an honest sales approach, and clear communication to keep customers informed and satisfied throughout their visit.

Qualifications

• Service advisor or strong customer service / sales experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to explain technical work in terms customers understand.
• Integrity-first approach to recommending and selling service.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet every service customer promptly and conduct a thorough, professional walk-around and write-up.
• Listen carefully to customer concerns and document them clearly so the technician can diagnose accurately the first time.
• Present recommended and declined services with honesty, clarity, and supporting evidence — never overselling, never underselling.
• Provide accurate estimates, realistic timelines, and proactive status updates throughout the visit.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts to keep work moving and promise times accurate.
• Drive customer-pay sales, hours per RO, and effective labor rate while protecting CSI.
• Handle concerns and tough conversations calmly, owning the problem until it’s resolved.
• Follow up after every visit to confirm complete satisfaction and earn the next one.
