Job summary

Courtesy Ford of Norfolk is seeking a Service Advisor to greet customers, listen to needs, and schedule appointments at our Norfolk Ford dealership. You will obtain customer and vehicle information, report symptoms, prepare maintenance estimates, and coordinate follow-up while updates are provided to customers throughout the day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior Ford dealership experience is a plus.
• Ability to identify problems quickly and understand automotive concerns.
• Proven track record of customer satisfaction.
• Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and obtain vehicle information.
• Clearly report symptoms described by customers.
• Determine and recommend maintenance based on age, mileage and history.
• Prepare an accurate labor and parts estimate.
• Monitor progress and update customers throughout the day.
• Explain completed work and charges to customers.
