Job summary

Pep Boys in San Diego is seeking an engaging service-oriented associate to drive customer satisfaction at the service desk, sales floor, and register. You will inform customers, schedule maintenance, and sell parts and services that optimize vehicle performance.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and at least one year in automotive service with sales experience preferred. Flexible shifts and a team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• One year of related experience in automotive service.
• One year of sales experience preferred.
• Basic math skills for commissions and discounts.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for customers in store or on phone; engage, schedule appointments, and sell parts and service.
• Organize and manage service business transactions, vehicle inspections, and parts knowledge.
• Assist in opening/closing duties, order processing, and store maintenance as directed.
• Adhere to cash, credit, refunds, and returns policies; address customer issues with management.
• Perform routine express automotive services: tire mounts, rotations, oil changes, fluids, batteries, inspections.
