Job summary

Promotive in Wilmington, DE is seeking a customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to bridge customers and technicians, ensuring smooth repairs and a positive experience. You’ll document vehicle issues, create repair orders, review DVIs, and explain recommendations while delivering excellent service.

The role requires prior Automotive Service Advisor experience, top-notch communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced team with a schedule Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Previous Automotive Service Advisor experience required.
• Automotive industry experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to explain technical information in a way customers understand.
• Comfortable using shop management software and digital tools.
• Positive attitude with a team-first mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and build lasting relationships.
• Listen to concerns and document vehicle issues.
• Create accurate repair orders.
• Review DVIs with customers.
• Explain repair recommendations clearly.
• Prepare estimates and obtain approvals.
