Qualifications

Experience in a customer-facing role with a positive mindset.
Must be a team player focused on exemplary customer service.
Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile is helpful.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

Serve as the communicator between the customer and technician; ensure customer needs are understood by the technician and the needed repairs are understood by the customer.
Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculate customer payments, including deductibles.
Prepare repair orders (RO), obtain approvals, and enter RO into the service database system.
Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.
Keep the customer informed of service specials, times, and expenses.
