Job summary

Tom Gill Buick GMC in Hamilton, OH is seeking a motivated Service Advisor to join our dealership team. You will coordinate internal repair orders, communicate with technicians, and deliver outstanding customer service from check-in through vehicle delivery.

This role requires at least 1 year of automotive service advisor or dealership experience, excellent communication, time management, and a professional, team-oriented attitude. Tekion experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year’s Automotive Service Advisor and/or dealership experience required
• Fantastic customer service and communication skills
• Friendly personality
• Time-management skills
• Professional, well-groomed personal appearance and a positive attitude
• Team-oriented and self-motivated
• Strong computer skills
• Good multitasking and organizational skills
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Open, manage, and close internal repair orders accurately and efficiently
• Coordinate vehicle repairs between sales, service, and parts departments
• Schedule service appointments and communicate repair timelines
• Maintain consistent communication with customers regarding vehicle status and updates
• Review repair recommendations and explain services clearly and professionally
• Work closely with technicians to ensure repairs are completed properly and on time
• Assist with warranty documentation and dealership processes
• Handle inbound phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries
• Ensure a positive customer experience from check-in through vehicle delivery
• Maintain accurate records and follow GM dealership procedures
