Job summary

LaFontaine Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to schedule service work, assist customers, and upsell additional services. The role emphasizes delivering excellent customer service, maintaining CSI standards, and building lasting customer relationships across our Michigan locations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years automotive service experience.
• Professional appearance.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a timely, friendly, and professional manner and collect customer and vehicle data.
• Provide estimates for labor and parts; obtain approval for costs.
• Follow up progress of each repair order and inform customers of changes.
• Notify dispatcher of incoming work and communicate changes in estimates.
• Ensure CSI targets and maintain quality control to reduce comebacks.
• Maintain and leverage customer relationships for repeat and referral business.
• Keep work and waiting areas clean and safe.
