Job summary

Earl Stewart Toyota in Florida is seeking a Service Writer/Service Advisor to greet customers, document vehicle issues, schedule service, and coordinate with technicians to keep repairs flowing smoothly.

You will explain maintenance costs, prepare estimates, verify warranty coverage, upsell preventive services, and ensure quality work and satisfied customers in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Past experience as a Service Advisor or similar role required.
• Familiarity with dealership software and DMS (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds) preferred.
• ADP computer experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly.
• Obtain customer and vehicle information.
• Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer.
• Determine and recommend needed maintenance based on age, mileage and history.
• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts.
• Establish follow up time.
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, updating customers.
• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order.
• Explain all completed work and charges to customers.
