Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Paducah, KY is seeking a professional Service Advisor to greet customers, document concerns, and accurately identify service needs.

You will quote costs, times, promote services, and provide updates throughout the day. The role requires prior service-advisor experience, strong sales/customer service skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work five days per week including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Service advisor experience required.
• Experience in sales or customer service in automotive field.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to work five days per week, including Saturdays.
• Professional appearance and ability to work in a process-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally in person and on the phone using standardized techniques.
• Listen to and document customer concerns; inspect vehicle and identify service needs.
• Recommend services and clearly communicate additional recommendations.
• Provide accurate quotes with cost and time for approved services.
• Promote services, parts, and accessories and update customers on status.
• Process cashing out with review of multi-point inspection and warranties.
• Follow up post-repair and for declined services.
• Track returns, core returns and warranty parts for customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
