Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Missouri is seeking a Service Advisor to greet customers, document concerns, inspect vehicles, and reference service history to identify needs. You will provide accurate quotes, track progress, promote services, and ensure customer satisfaction through timely updates.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, 18+ years old, and prior experience as a Service Advisor or in sales/customer service within automotive fields.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior experience as a Service Advisor is required.
• Prior experience in sales, customer service or an automotive related field.
• Professional appearance and proven ability to work in a process driven environment.
• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturday’s.

Responsibilities

• Promptly greet customers in a professional and courteous manner both in person and on the telephone using standard techniques.
• Listen to and document customer concerns; inspect vehicle and reference service history to identify needs.
• Recommend services and clearly communicate additional recommendations to customers.
• Promote sales of services, parts, and accessories with product understanding.
• Provide accurate quotes including cost and time for approved services; update customers throughout service.
• Cash out tickets with review of multi-point inspections and warranties.
• Conduct post-repair follow-up calls to ensure satisfaction.
• Track returns and warranty parts for individual customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
