Merrick Jeep Chrysler Dodge Ram, part of the VIP Automotive Group in Merrick, NY, is hiring an experienced Express Lane Service Advisor / Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer to join a high-volume service department. The position offers base pay with uncapped bonuses and strong earning potential in a dynamic dealership setting.

We seek candidates with a solid background in express lane service, excellent communication, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Automotive Service Advisor or Service Writer experience.
• Previous dealership experience required.
• Express lane or quick service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage express service appointments.
• Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service.
• Write repair orders (ROs) accurately and efficiently.
• Assist customers with maintenance recommendations including oil changes, brakes, tires, batteries, and factory scheduled maintenance.
• Communicate repair timelines, approvals, and service updates.
• Coordinate workflow between technicians, dispatchers, and customers.

• Schedule and manage express service appointments
• Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service

• Recommend and upsell additional maintenance and repair services
• Communicate repair timelines, approvals, and service updates

Qualifications

• Previous dealership experience required
• Express lane or quick service experience preferred
• Strong communication, sales, and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dealership environment
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
