Job summary

Merrick Jeep Chrysler Dodge Ram, part of the VIP Automotive Group, is actively hiring an Express Lane Service Advisor to join our fast-paced, high-volume service department in a welcoming Nassau County location.

The role includes greeting customers, writing RO's, recommending care, upselling services, and coordinating with technicians to keep customers informed and satisfied. Base salary is $70,000–$110,000 annually, plus commissions and performance bonuses, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Automotive Service Advisor or Service Writer experience.
• Express lane or quick service experience preferred.
• Strong communication, sales, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dealership environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Professional appearance and clean driving record.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service.
• Write repair orders (ROs) accurately and efficiently.
• Assist customers with maintenance recommendations including oil changes, brakes, tires, batteries.
• Recommend and upsell additional maintenance and repair services.
• Coordinate workflow between technicians, dispatchers, and customers.
• Communicate repair timelines, approvals, and service updates.
• Ensure repair orders are properly completed and closed.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction and retention scores.
• Schedule and manage express service appointments.
