Job summary

Grogan's Towne Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is seeking a Service Advisor to join our busy service team. You will greet customers, gather vehicle information, and clearly communicate vehicle symptoms to customers.

You will prepare cost estimates for labor and parts and monitor each vehicle’s progress throughout the day, ensuring satisfied customers. The ideal candidate has a proven customer-service record, energy, and a commitment to a long-term career with a growing dealership group.

• Past experience as a Service Advisor or related roles preferred.
• High energy and a desire for a long-term career.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and obtain vehicle information.
• Report vehicle symptoms clearly as described by customers.
• Determine and recommend maintenance based on age, mileage, and history.
• Prepare accurate labor and parts cost estimates.
• Establish follow-up times and monitor vehicle progress.
• Verify invoices match work performed and explain charges.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers promptly
• Obtain customer and vehicle information
• Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
• Determine and recommend needed maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle
• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
• Establish follow up time
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and updating customers frequently
• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
• Explain all completed work and charges to customers

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven record of achieving exceptional Customer Satisfaction
• Past experience as a Service Advisor, Assistant Lane Manager or Service Consultant is preferred
• Above average energy level
• A desire for a long term career with a growing organization
• Personal and professional integrity
• ADP computer experience a plus
• Must have a clean & valid driver's license
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen prior to employment.
