Are you a problem-solver who enjoys helping people and keeping things running smoothly? CAPITAL CHEVROLET of SHALLOTTE is looking for acustomer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to be the vital link between our customers and our skilled technicians.
As a Service Advisor, you’ll be the go-to expert for customers seeking maintenance and repair services. From scheduling appointments to explaining recommended work, you’ll ensure every customer feels informed, confident, and cared for—because at Capital Chevy, we don’t just fix vehicles—we build trust.
Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to their vehicle concerns.
Assess service needs and recommend repairs and maintenance clearly and honestly.
Schedule appointments and coordinate with the service team to manage workflow efficiently.
Keep customers updated on service progress, pricing, and timing.
Collaborate closely with technicians to ensure timely and accurate repairs.
Handle customer questions or concerns with professionalism and urgency.
Keep your workspace organized and uphold all safety and cleanliness standards.
Jump in to assist with other duties as needed—teamwork makes the shop work!
Experience as a Service Advisor or in a related customer service role in the automotive industry.
Solid knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
Strong communication skills—you’re approachable, clear, and empathetic.
Tech-savvy with the ability to use scheduling, estimating, and invoicing software.
A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Must pass a pre-employment background check.
A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
