Job summary

Berman Hyundai in Lincolnwood, IL is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team. The role offers a pay plan of $115,000+ per year with commission, and full-time hours (40 hours, five days a week).

Responsibilities include greeting customers, collecting vehicle information, documenting service needs, preparing cost estimates, and coordinating service flow. Candidates should have Tekion/Hyundai experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Tekion and Hyundai experience preferred.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to document service requests.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously at the service drive.
• Obtain customer and vehicle information.
• Listen to customers’ concerns and document their service needs.
• Determine and recommend maintenance based on age, mileage and history.
• Prepare an accurate labor and parts cost estimate.
• Keep customers informed of repair status and answer questions.
• Explain completed work and charges to customers clearly.
• Coordinate service appointments and ensure timely completion.
• Collaborate with technicians, parts, and dealership staff for efficient workflow.

Berman Hyundai is looking to add an experienced Service Advisor to the team!

Job Title: Service Advisor

Location: Lincolnwood, IL

Pay: $115,000+ year - Commission pay plan

Schedule

• Full-time (40 hours, 5 days/week)
• Sundays always off
• Second day off alternates weekly (Set Weekday off vs. Saturday off)
• Every other weekend completely off

Job Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously upon arrival at the service drive
• Obtain customer and vehicle information
• Listen attentively to customers' concerns and accurately document their vehicle service needs
• Determine and recommend necessary maintenance based on age, mileage and history of the vehicle.
• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts.
• Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicle repairs and address any questions or concerns they may have
• Comfortably and clearly explain all completed work and charges to the customer
• Coordinate service appointments and ensure timely completion of service orders
• Collaborate closely with service technicians, parts department, and other dealership personnel to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction
