Lithia Volkswagen of Des Moines invites qualified individuals to join our Automotive Service department as a Service Advisor in Des Moines, IA. The role supports dealership operations and customer demand with flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

This on-site position reports to the Service Manager at our Des Moines location. The successful candidate will greet customers, assess vehicle concerns, explain repair options and timelines, and coordinate repair orders

Qualifications

• Customer service or automotive service experience.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• 1+ years of automotive experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a professional service experience.
• Discuss vehicle concerns, recommend services, and explain repair needs, costs, and timelines.
• Create accurate repair orders and document customer and vehicle information.
• Review inspection results, estimates, and additional service recommendations with customers.
• Communicate with technicians and customers throughout the repair process.
• Coordinate repair orders and help keep service work moving.
• Complete vehicle delivery and payment process
