The Sales Manager will plan, motivate, and coordinate management through solid business practices, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction across new and used-vehicle sales.

Qualifications

• 5+ years dealership sales and supervisory experience.
• Ability to work with others in a complex matrix structure.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to understand profit and loss statements.
• Ability to manage large, diverse staff.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors sales staff performance.
• Directs activities of all department employees; ensure proper staffing.
• Ensure customers are greeted promptly and follow up promptly.
• Maintain prospect tracking and follow-up system.
• Help salespeople close deals when needed.
• Coordinate between new- and used-vehicle sales teams to follow policy.
• Lead sales training meetings and forecast monthly goals.
• Develop improvement plans for underperforming staff.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings and CSI.
• Attend managers meetings and other tasks assigned by management.
