Job summary

Step One Automotive Group seeks a motivated Salesperson to guide customers through the showroom journey—from welcome and needs discovery to vehicle selection, negotiation, delivery and long-term follow-up.

You will drive gross profit, volume, and CSI scores while upholding dealership standards, completing OEM training, and building lasting relationships with clients across Florida operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior automotive sales experience preferred; motivated candidates without experience will be considered.
• Must successfully pass a background check, drug screen, and MVR.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through the full vehicle-buying journey from greeting to delivery and follow-up.
• Achieve monthly sales and gross profit targets.
• Maintain a high CSI score through excellent customer service.
• Build a prospect and owner follow-up system for repeat and referral business.
• Complete OEM and SOAG training monthly and maintain manufacturer certifications.
• Execute deals with proper paperwork, financing handoff, delivery, and title processing.
• Introduce customers to the Service Department to foster long-term relationships.
• Operate with integrity and comply with automotive retail laws.
