Job summary

Group 1 Automotive is seeking an Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team. With state-of-the-art facilities and strong compensation, you will drive vehicle sales, conduct test drives, and build relationships with customers from initial contact to delivery.

You will prospect new clients daily, maintain relationships with prior buyers, and strive for high CSI scores while meeting personal sales targets and staying informed on vehicle features and inventory.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in automotive sales preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Must work in a commission-driven, performance-based environment.
• Positive attitude with a high-energy personality.
• Excellent customer service and professional presentation.
• Self-motivated and proactive work ethic.
• Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening.
• High school diploma or equivalent and valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate vehicles by explaining features, benefits, and warranties; conduct test drives and compare models.
• Prospect daily for new customers and maintain relationships with previous buyers.
• Maintain high CSI scores and implement follow-up systems for repeat business.
• Stay informed on product updates, inventory, and accessories to better serve customers.
• Set and achieve personal sales goals aligned with dealership standards.
