Job summary

Hawk Auto Group in Pittsburgh is seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to help customers select and purchase vehicles in a fast-paced, in-person environment. You will demonstrate both new and used vehicles, discuss features and warranties, and ensure a smooth delivery process at the dealership.

This role emphasizes outstanding communication, the ability to meet sales quotas through commission, and ongoing follow-up with customers to build loyalty.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Must have a valid in-state driver's license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and persuasive sales skills.
• Ability to meet or exceed dealership sales quotas.
• Familiarity with retail auto sales regulations.

Responsibilities

• Realize that business is built on customer satisfaction and devote himself/herself to guaranteeing satisfaction to customers.
• Determine each customer’s vehicle needs by asking questions and listening.
• Demonstrate new and used vehicles (includes test drives).
• Deliver new and used vehicles to customers, ensuring understanding of features, warranty and paperwork, and laying the foundation for loyalty.
• Attend sales meetings.
• Maintain an owner follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business.
• Keep abreast of new products and features and their benefits to customers.
• Establish personal income goals consistent with dealership standards and devise a plan to meet them.
• Report to the General Sales Manager regarding objectives and activities.
• Review and analyze actions to optimize time and plans.
• Understand automobile industry terminology and stay updated on tech changes.
