Bob Thomas Ford is expanding its sales team in Fort Wayne, IN. We’re seeking go-getters for a long-term role in automotive sales, offering room to grow and a comprehensive benefits package.

As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will build relationships, discuss vehicle options, conduct test drives, present quotes and financing, and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and create new leads. You could earn well over six figures with commissions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years previous commission sales experience.
• Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Excellent appearance, verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Must possess the ability to ask for the sale and follow through.
• Strong retail and/or sales skills.
• Steady employment history.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Spend time with customers to determine needs and discuss vehicle options.
• Become an auto sales expert with in-depth knowledge of Ford vehicles and technology.
• Test drive vehicles to demonstrate features like Sync, AppLink, and hybrid tech.
• Complete quotes and explain financing options.
• Follow up with prospective customers.
• Follow up with existing customers to confirm satisfaction and generate leads.

• Sales Representatives spend time with customers to determine their needs and discusses vehicle options


• Auto Sales Consultants commit to becoming an auto sales expert and gain in-depth knowledge of Ford vehicles and technology


• Sales Representatives test drive vehicles to demonstrate industry leading features ie. Sync, App Link, & advancing hybrid technology


• Complete quotes and explain financing options


• Follow up with prospective customers


• Follow up with existing customers to confirm their satisfaction and generate leads
