Bob Thomas Ford Lincoln North is seeking enthusiastic automotive sales consultants to join our busy sales floor in Fort Wayne, IN. We value relationship-building, clear communication, and a craftsmanlike approach to selling Ford vehicles.

Responsibilities include needs assessment, vehicle option discussions, test drives, quoting, financing explanations, and proactive follow-up with customers to generate and secure leads.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commission-based sales experience.
• Outgoing personality with relationship-building ability.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Excellent appearance and verbal/written communication.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to ask for the sale and follow through.
• Steady employment history.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Business is growing at Bob Thomas Ford. We are looking for a couple of go-getters to add to our sales department immediately. We don't flood the floor. We are looking for long term employees & offering them room to grow.
We believe that being an Automotive Sales Consultant is a true craft, built on the foundations of good relationships, communication skills, and character.

• Sales Representatives spend time with customers to determine their needs and discusses vehicle options
• Auto Sales Consultants commit to becoming an auto sales expert and gain in-depth knowledge of Ford vehicles and technology
• Sales Representatives test drive vehicles to demonstrate industry leading features ie. Sync, App Link, & advancing hybrid technology
• Complete quotes and explain financing options
• Follow up with prospective customers
• Follow up with existing customers to confirm their satisfaction and generate leads

The right candidates must have
