Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Line Lead to supervise and develop a team of hourly associates in an Inspection Center. You will ensure safe movement of vehicles, drive production and quality metrics, and coach staff for continuous improvement.

The role requires a high school diploma, computer basics, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. It offers full-time employment with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience using computers.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Demonstrated understanding of Carvana’s reconditioning processes and lean principles.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Manage movement of cars into/out of the Inspection Center to meet production and quality goals.
• Meet or exceed inventory production goals daily, weekly and monthly.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of assigned team; identify strengths/weaknesses and opportunities.
• Provide coaching, development and performance feedback to team members.
• Create an environment that encourages positive communication and teamwork.
• Communicate expectations, metrics, and goals clearly to the team.
• Lead a team of production associates and coordinate with management on repairs vs. rejection.
• Train team on Quality Control standards to minimize rework and delays.
