Job summary

Carvana seeks a Line Lead to supervise and develop a team of hourly associates at the Inspection Center, driving production targets and quality standards. The role focuses on safe vehicle movement, coaching, and adherence to Carvana’s values.

This position is not visa eligible and requires a proactive, hands-on leader. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, computer experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds while working in a dynamic

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience using computers.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record in the last 3 years.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently; lifting from knee to shoulder heights.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• May require overtime, weekends, and variable schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely, meeting production and quality goals.
• Meet or exceed inventory production goals on daily, weekly, and monthly bases.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of the assigned team; identify strengths and areas for improvement.
• Provide coaching, development, and performance management to team members.
• Foster a positive work environment aligned with Carvana values and clear communication of expectations.
• Monitor adherence to systems, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Review and approve identified mechanical and physical defects of incoming inventory.
• Train associates on Quality Control standards to minimize re-checks and delays.
