Job summary

Magna Exteriors is seeking a Pre-Production Launch Coordinator to support the Launch Program Manager in delivering PDP Phases 2 through 5/6 for North American projects. You will help manage inputs and outputs of the Pre-Production process, coordinating build events, materials, and supplier interactions on the factory floor and at customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Education (must): 2-year College Associate Degree or Technical School Certificate.
• Years of Experience (must): 1 – 3 Years.
• Microsoft Tools (must): Proven Skills in EXCEL, Power Point, Word, etc.
• Travel (as required): Minimal – usually local Equipment Integrators.
• Work Environment (must): Manufacturing floor, able to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Verbal and Written Communication (must): Develop/lead cross-department discussions.
• Direct Customer / Supplier Experience: Limited / Developing with suppliers.
• New Product Launch Experience: Limited / Developing.
• Gated Launch Experience: Limited / Developing.
• Automotive OEM Experience: Limited / Developing.

Responsibilities

• The Pre-Production Launch Coordinator supports the Launch Program Manager in facilitating pre-production deliverables from PDP Phases 2–5/6.
• Key facilitator in the hand-off process to Production Team for customer ramp and SOP.
• Manages inputs/outputs of Pre-Production: component management, build event coordination, process interfaces and scheduling.
• Coordinate and execute advanced planning for upcoming builds with affected departments.
• Support packaging, labeling, and customer deliverables per project requirements.
