Job summary

Minth North America in Gadsden, AL seeks a Launch Project Manager to lead a mass‑production program for automotive components. You will act as the primary liaison between the factory and its key clients, drive APQP, manage PPAP and control plans, and coordinate cross‑functional teams in the US and China to ensure manufacturability, quality, and cost targets.

This full‑time, on‑site role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering (MBA/PMP a strong plus), 7+ years in automotive PM, and proven experience

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
MBA, PMP, or Master's in Project Management is a strong plus.
7+ years in automotive components with full-cycle PM experience (NPI and mass production).

Responsibilities

Lead project kick-offs and develop master schedules with milestones and resource plans.
Drive APQP five phases, ensure deliverables like FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP completed on time.
Interface with customer engineering teams, manage ECN and sample delivery/approval.
Coordinate between US factory teams and China HQ/Asia-Pacific teams to ensure manufacturability and cost optimization.
Manage PPAP submission, production start-up, IQ targets, and post-launch performance (cost, delivery, quality).
Oversee change management, quotes, QBRs, and end-of-life activities.
