Job summary

Multimatic Tennessee seeks a Program Management Launch Engineer to drive automotive programs from inception through start-up, ensuring on-time milestones and cost controls. You will coordinate engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing activities, and report program status to leadership.

You will act as the primary liaison with customers, prepare technical presentations, and manage ECNs while enforcing APQP gates and launch readiness. Travel will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience managing automotive programs from concept through production.
• Strong coordination across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and purchasing.
• Knowledge of APQP gates, ECN processes, and production readiness.
• Ability to identify and drive cost-saving opportunities across the program.
• Excellent communication with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage program timelines, budgets, quotations, prototypes, and production start-up.
• Act as primary liaison between customer and Multimatic for the program.
• Prepare technical presentations and support for product launches.
• Review engineering changes (ECN) and ensure APQP gates are met.
• Support tooling, process development, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Travel as required by the project and customer needs.
